Dougherty named vp marketing: "Florim USA a developing force"

With an eye toward significantly growing its ceramic tile brands, Florim USA has named Jim Dougherty vp marketing. A 25-year veteran of the industry, he will be responsible for developing marketing and customer service initiatives, including branding strategies for the company's Esquire and American Florim lines.

“We are fortunate to bring in a leader of Jim’s caliber to our team,” said Mike Rohnert, president and CEO of the Clarksville, Tenn.-based tile maker. “His knowledge of the industry will be of great benefit to Florim USA as well as the Florim Group worldwide.”

Dougherty noted, “Florim USA is a developing force in the domestic tile market. With the resources of [parent company] the Florim Group and synergies with our sister brands, it’s clear we have the wherewithal to achieve the long-term vision for Florim USA.”

Florim USA is a subsidiary of The Florim Group of Italy, and is aligned with sister companies Floor Gres, Rex, Cerim and Casa Dolce Casa.
