NTCA unveils new logo

As part of its goal in raising its visibility, the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) has commissioned a new logo. The NTCA will feature the logo prominently on all materials, literature, advertising, websites and promotional items beginning in January, the association stated.

New commercial division launched by Mosaico

In building commercial momentum for its custom made stone and glass mosaics, Mosaico Italiano has recently launched its new Commercial & Hospitality division, operating from its Pompano Beach, Fl.-based corporate offices. Sloan joins NTCA as training director

The National Tile Contractors Association has named Gerald Sloan director of training. The 24-year veteran will be responsible for conducting training programs and workshops around the country for tile contractors and installers. Sloan succeeds Justin Woelfel, Jr., who resigned in August to pursue other opportunities.

Considerable improvement has been shown by these companies in the design and manufacturing of porcelain tile. Brazil has today one of the most advanced standards for the porcelain tile released by CCB – the Brazilian Ceramic Center.

To protect and preserve with Questech’s Q-Seal

With an aim to guard its new tumbled marble from water and stain damage, Questech has appointed its sealer, Q-Seal, to the task. In protecting the company’s tiles, including kitchen backsplashes and counters, bathroom floors and tub and shower surrounds, Q-Seal’s protective shield “beads up” stain-causing liquids for cleaning. In addition, Q-Seal’s protection is also guaranteed for life, Questech notes.
