Eliane’s EcoStone collection of porcelain tiles was recently
awarded the Fritz Muller Award, recognized by the Santa Catarina Environmental
Foundation (FATMA) for being “the top ecological porcelain product from Brazil.”
On August 31, Eliane CEO Edson
Gaidzinski will accept the honor from Mr. Luiz Henrique da Silva, governor of
Santa Catarina, in the 16th annual Fritz Muller Awards program.
Eliane’s EcoStone porcelain is
manufactured with up to 60 percent post-industrial recycled raw material, reusing
90 percent of the water necessary in the production process, while saving up to
50 percent on energy costs for each cycle, the company notes.
